4. How we use information
To provide the Service: create and manage Accounts; store and display records; build quotes, invoices and payment links; schedule appointments; send texts and emails that businesses send, approve or automate; run reports; and provide customer support.
To operate messaging responsibly: apply quiet hours, honor opt-outs, enforce sending limits, and prevent spam and abuse.
To bill: process subscriptions, manage plan limits and collect payments.
To keep the Service safe: authenticate users, separate each business’s data, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms, and keep audit records.
To communicate with you: send service, security, billing and legal notices, and product update emails (which you can opt out of).
To improve the Service: understand how features are used, fix bugs and develop new features, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
To comply with law and enforce our agreements, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use Customer Data to advertise to end customers.
5. AI features
DetailCoach and other AI features use the information in your Account (for example, leads, customers, appointments, quotes, prices and message history) to answer questions, draft messages and propose actions. To do this, the relevant information is sent to our hosting platform and its AI model providers, which process it to generate a response. AI output may be inaccurate; see the DetailCoach AI Terms & Disclaimer. Do not enter sensitive information such as payment card numbers, government ID numbers or health information into DetailCoach.
6. Text messaging privacy
Phone numbers and messaging consent are used only to send the messages the business or user asked for, such as quotes, appointment confirmations and reminders, “on the way” notices, follow-ups and service notifications.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver the messages.
Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of texts from a business at any time and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
7. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below:
Service providers that process information for us under contract and only to provide their services, including:
our application hosting, database, file storage, authentication and AI platform (Base44) and the AI model providers it uses;
Stripe (subscription billing, and payment processing for businesses that connect their own Stripe account);
Twilio (text-message delivery);
Resend (email delivery);
Google (maps, address and distance services, and Google sign-in) and Apple (Sign in with Apple and the App Store); and
analytics, error-monitoring, customer-support and communications tools we use to run our business.
Within a business’s Account: information in an Account is visible to that business’s authorized users according to their roles.
With end customers, at the business’s direction: for example, the business name, contact details and quote details appear on quote, payment and waiver pages and in messages the business sends.
Integrations you choose: when you connect a third-party tool, we exchange information with it as needed to make the connection work.
Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order or valid government request, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Avesa One, our users or others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
With your consent or at your direction.
8. Information about your customers
Businesses that use the Service control the information they enter about their own customers and decide how to use it and whom to contact. They are responsible for providing any required privacy notice to their customers and for having the consent needed to contact them. We process that information on their behalf as their service provider and do not use it for our own marketing.
If you are a customer of a business that uses DetailAxis and want to access, correct or delete your information, or stop receiving messages, please contact that business directly. You can also reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts from that business. If you contact us, we will forward your request to the business and help them respond where we can.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service and understand how it is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working. Our Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals; we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
10. How long we keep information
We keep Account and Customer Data for as long as the Account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
When a business deletes records or its Account, we delete the information from the live Service, except information we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute purposes (for example, billing records and records of consent and signed agreements).
Copies may remain in backups for a limited time until they are overwritten or expire.
We may keep aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer identify anyone.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls that keep each business’s data separate, role-based permissions, encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted and logged support access, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password, keep it private, and remove access for people who no longer need it. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
12. Your choices and rights
Access and update: you can view and update most account and business information in Settings.
Export: you can export many records from the Service, or ask us for a copy.
Delete: you can delete records, or delete your Account from Settings or our account deletion page.
Product emails: you can opt out of product update emails using the link or instructions in the email. Service, security and billing emails are still sent.
Device permissions: you can turn off location, camera and notification permissions in your device settings.
To make a privacy request, email support@detailaxis.com or support@avesa.one, or call 888-904-1222. We will verify your request using information associated with your Account, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
13. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access and receive a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers (name, email, phone, postal address, IP address, account identifiers);
Customer records (contact details, signatures, billing information);
Commercial information (plans, purchases, quotes, invoices and payment status);
Internet or network activity (usage data, logs, device information);
Geolocation data (addresses and, if you allow it, device location);
Audio, electronic or visual information (photos you upload, signature images);
Professional information (business name, role, business details); and
Sensitive personal information limited to account login credentials, used only to provide and secure the Service.
We collect these categories from the sources in Section 3, use them for the purposes in Section 4, and disclose them for business purposes to the categories of recipients in Section 7. We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are defined by the CCPA), including of consumers under 16, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you the right to limit its use. We keep each category for the periods described in Section 10.
Where we process information about end customers on a business’s behalf, we do so as a service provider, and requests should be directed to that business.
14. Other U.S. state rights
Depending on where you live (for example Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise your rights, contact us as described in Section 12. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
15. Children
The Service is a business tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. International users
The Service is operated in and intended for the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new date and, if the changes are material, notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
